Bookaneer notebooks are designed for book and writing lovers. They are made with durable book paper and sewn with red thread, allowing the book to open completely flat. The cover and a 'surprise' inside page have beautiful illustrations inspired by the original book; a drawing, a quote, a portrait. The synopsis on the back cover plays with the idea of ​​a book, a writing book. These are not books, but like books they already have a title, author and words, and many blank pages (except one). The idea is to disconnect from everyday noise and fill them with your own thoughts or drawings.

Summa de Arithmetica, Geometria, Proportioni et Proportionalita, by Luca Pacioli (Venice, 1494):
Luca Pacioli was a teacher, traveler, scholar and friend of such renowned figures as Leonardo da Vinci and Piero della Francesca. He was also the author of the most important mathematics book of the Renaissance, Summa de Arithmetica. Being familiar with the world of accounting, his treatise not only published these ideas but elevated the concerns of the businessman to the intellectual level of other humanities. It contains the first appearance in print of the plus and minus symbols and many of the ideas of Fibonacci (the 13th century mathematician who introduced Hindu-Arabic numbers to Europe). It was the most widely used mathematical text in Italy for 50 years after its publication, informing generations of merchants about the basic principles of accounting, quick calculation and arithmetic.
